Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) Based Optical Code Division Multiple Access (OCDMA) for Indoor, Short, and Outdoor Applications

چکیده

This paper has presented the performance of an optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system for indoor, short and outdoor applications and the transmission efficiency to be evaluated in order to determine the impact of multi access interference for a given number of users in dense wavelength division multiplexing. Optical code division multiple access is an alternative multiplexing scheme to the more conventional wavelength division multiple access (WDMA) and time division multiple access (TDMA). We have taken into account the performance evaluation and analysis with different system applications. The optimum system design parameters are determined at a specific BER (bit error rate).
